Client approval
Social media client approval from one email link
No logins, no screenshots in email chains, no “which version was that?”. Your client opens a link, reads the posts, changes what they want and approves. You see the result in ContentPilot.
No credit card required · Australian made, prices in AUD
Step 1
You send one link
On any post, press Send to client and type their email address. They get an email headed “Your content is ready for review”, signed with your business name, with a Review Content button.
The link opens their posts with no password and no account. It works for seven days.

Step 2
Your client edits, asks for changes or approves
Your client sees the post as it will go out: the image, the caption for each platform and the article.
- Edit Content lets them change the words or the image themselves.
- Request Changes sends you a note. The post shows as “Changes requested” on your dashboard, with their note on the post, and it cannot be scheduled until you deal with it.
- They tick where each caption should go, then approve. Anything they untick is left out.
Spring natives
Spring has landed in the shop. This week's bunches are all local natives: waratah, wax flower and kangaroo paw, wrapped fresh each morning. Order by 2pm Thursday for Friday delivery in Forbes, Parkes and Eugowra. Who are you sending flowers to this week?
Where should this go?

Emails carry your business name, so your client knows who they come from.
Every Monday, if you want it
The weekly preview email
Turn on Weekly preview email for a client and every Monday morning, in their time zone, they get a list of the posts going out that week: the day, the time, the platforms and the first line of each, with a small picture.
It is there so a client who also posts for themselves can spot a clash. Their reply comes straight to you. No email goes out in a week with nothing scheduled, and the switch is off until you turn it on.

FAQ
Questions
Does my client need an account or a password?
No. They get an email with a Review Content button. The link opens their posts straight away, with nothing to sign up for.
How long does the link work?
Seven days. Once your client approves, the link is used up, so an old email cannot approve the same post twice. If they ask for changes instead, the link keeps working so they can come back.
Can my client change the wording?
Yes. They can edit the captions and the article, swap the image, and ask for the captions to be rewritten from their edits. What they type is kept exactly as they wrote it.
Does approving publish the post straight away?
No. Approval tells you the post is good to go and where it should go. You then pick the day and time, or press Publish now. Your client sees that their approved post will go out once you schedule it.
What is the weekly preview email?
An optional email to your client every Monday morning, in their time zone, listing the posts going out that week with the day, time, platform and first line of each. It has no links and needs no login. If your client replies, the reply comes to you.
What if my client forgets to look?
Tick the reminders box for that client and ContentPilot nudges them 2 days and 5 days after you send a post, while it is still waiting. They can reply to have the reminders turned off. You get your own reminders about drafts left sitting, at 3 and 10 days.
Which plans include client approval?
All of them, including the free start. The email is signed with your business name.
